Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit our platform. They allow us to remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how the platform is used.

2. Cookies We Use

3. Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the platform to function. They handle authentication, maintain your session, and store your cookie preferences. They cannot be disabled. Without them, core features like login and AI chat will not work.

4. Functional Cookies

These cookies remember your preferences — language, AI personality, response mode — so you don't have to reconfigure them on each visit. Disabling them means you'll need to re-select preferences each session.

5. Analytics Cookies

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the platform is used — which features are popular, where users encounter difficulties — to improve the product. Analytics are aggregated and anonymised. No personal data is sent to analytics providers.

6. Managing Your Preferences

You have full control over optional cookies:

  • Cookie consent banner: Shown on first visit. Click "Manage preferences" to configure individual categories.
  • Update at any time: Click "Cookie Preferences" in any page footer to re-open the banner.
  • Browser settings: You can also block all cookies via your browser settings. Note this will prevent login.

7. Third-Party Cookies

We do not embed third-party advertising or social media trackers. The only third-party data processor for analytics is Vercel (GDPR-compliant, EU Standard Contractual Clauses in place). Authentication uses next-auth which sets first-party session cookies only.
